In response to Day 6: The space to write:

For those of you who may be new to my blog, I’ll let you in on a little secret.
I am completely head over heels in love with all things beach, sun, sand and extremely hot weather.
So when this assignment asked for what my ideal writing setting is, you don’t need to be a mind-reader to know what I’m going to say, but I’ll say it anyway.
My ideal writing setting involves my laptop, dangerously balanced on my outstretched legs at 5:00 AM, sitting in a lounge chair on the balcony perched above the beach where I can people watch on vacation. Besides, a steaming mug of Yaucono coffee, the quiet sounds of the early morning and the entire day ahead of me with nothing on the agenda, I don’t need much else as equipment or supplies.
Below is all the writing inspiration I need.
Edits to whatever I may have drafted that morning are done at the end of the day on that same balcony, sometimes with a glass of local sangria as I listen to local internet radio.
Unfortunately, whenever the “dream” ends, my everyday writing setting is shockingly different.
These days, instead of writing at night, my writing setting involves 30 minutes on my lunch hour, at my work station as I eat my lunch, with earphones plugged into my cell and speed typing away at a draft post in Evernote on a horribly tiny keyboard that I bought for my Samsung Tab 7″. Multitasking at its maximum.
The limited time forces the ideas out into a first draft and then I may spend a maximum of 45 minutes “massaging” out the kinks before saving it as a draft or posting it on WP the same evening. This is all usually done on my laptop, in bed, with either the television or my favorite music as background noise or inspiration.
In both settings, I don’t need much besides a little inspiration.
As for the poll required for this assignment, here is my question for you: Out of the readings you may have done on my blog, what would like to see me write more of?
