PRESS THIS: Chilling video tells you how to survive an active shooter situation: Aaron Rand’s Blog

The world has become a scary place.

In addition to fire and emergency preparedness drills, it’s sad to realize that we need to know what to do in these types of events too.

A few days ago, a radio announcer spoke about this on his Page and I was curious enough to take a look. The video he shared is very graphic and quite disturbing. To be honest, it made me sick to my stomach but it does provide valuable information that is now etched in my mind. Forever.

If you are interested in the video the announcer posted, you can find it at the very bottom of this post but again, I warn you, it is not for the faint of heart. Your choice.

The announcer’s video posting led me to peruse YouTube for other less graphic videos like this one here. I won’t fool you, I was more than a little sad about the number of videos that exist about it.

Knowledge is power so I plan on discussing this topic with family and friends.

That’s it for this Saturday.

  1. It is sad to see what the world is coming to but the schools in my area are prepared and do drills for this several times a year. I happened to be at my daughters school when they did a drill and even as a visitor I was not allowed to leave. I had to stay and participate in the drill just as if something had actually occurred.
