  1. Interesting article. IMHO society has just about “outsmarted” itself when it comes to the institution of marraige by devaluing it. The media all but applaudes those on their nth marraige, multiple marraiges, open marraiges etc. Traditionally, wedding vows focused on the balance required to live and cherish (in love) each other for LIFE: for better or worse, richer or poorer, sickness and in health, until death separated you. One other thing I’d like to comment on is that being the mother of a son is IN NO WAY like having a husband. As a mother my responsibility is to nurture my children by giving them stability, security and affection. My husband has a “whole other set of benefits” solely for him. Thanks for sharing, it’s certainly eye-opening!
    Blessings, Crystal

  2. Interesting article. Hmm. Well, those traits that were described can definitely screw over your chances. But they won’t necessarily stop you from getting married, if you find the right person. Besides, everyone is negative to an extent. No one is a complete angel or devil. So you take the good with the bad but recognizing your faults and working on them is important. I will give Tracy that credit at least.
