The Paper Chase

I walked into Staples for a box of fine-point, smooth gel ink pens and walked out with these instead.

I don’t need pastel colored paper and shouldn’t have bought them.

But I did.

The frugal side of me says to return the unopened purple one. I don’t even know why I opened the yellow one in the first place.

But the “I want it” side of me says to create some kind of project as an excuse to keep them.

Do you have any ideas?

  1. I wonder if you like to write in notebooks. You could use them to make a notebook for yourself to write in, I’m sure there is ‘ A How To Do’ for that somewhere. It is kind of fun to write on coloured paper, as opposed to white.

  2. Moleskine, my weakness!! Especially the little ones you can tuck inside pockets for writing on the run. Paper pretty.. I know from ordering for school, purple costly. It doesn’t go bad; easily storable; and you will have when you get an idea!! I like having color paper on hand to share poems; print emergency numbers and put on refrigerator; lots of uses…2 cups of Starbucks. Only you now have plenty of pretty paper on hand!

  3. I can’t help myself either if it comes to a bargain. I think either shade of paper would be great for small posters too. Sometimes plain white is a bit bland.
If ideas don’t appear today I’m sure they will eventually and you’ll already be prepared.

Great blogs thrive because of comments and readership. I'd love to hear from you!
