#Comicon Montreal 2016 was ten times bigger than the last time I went years ago when I took my niece and nephew for the heck of it. With three entire floors at the Palais de Congrès, I hit 10k steps with my #Fitbit in no time flat!

90% of the attendees were dressed up as characters (including mommies, daddies, kids and babies) and since I’m not really a sci-fi geek, I annoyed the person I went with all my questions, “Who are they supposed to be?”, “What is she dressed up as?”, “Who is that again?”, “What show are they on?”.

Of course, I recognized a lot of the television and movie actors. We even went to a Nichelle Nichols Q & A session. You remember Uhura from Star Trek, don’t you?

  1. Lovely. I am not really into this but am mate of mine happens to own a Marvel comic book shop over in the U.K. and my husband is a bit of a geek when it comes to comics and all things geeky – ha ha! I am going to divulge a secret. I actually want to go to one just to see what it is like. Don’t tell a soul, please…. it will totally ruin my cool reputation 😉

  2. I keep forgetting that the Montreal Comic-Con occurs around the same time as the San Diego Comic-Con! At least it’s only a 2-day trip from where I live to get to San Diego…
    Both look like fun, though!
