If you’re not truly committed, New Year’s resolutions can fall through almost as soon as you make them.
And that’s the reason why I no longer make them, at least not for January 1st.
While diving into my 2017 Passion Planner, it occurred to me that I could approach my new year’s goals in a different but more fun and effective way.
You see, “writing challenges” have always put some wind in the sails of my creative writing, whether it be WordPress courses, NaNoWriMo, NaBloPoMo, or the A to Z Challenge. And all of those challenges have helped me to strive forwards towards the writing goals I have set for myself.
That’s when the idea hit me.
Why can’t I take the concept of “challenges” and apply them to my 2017 goals with a little #badass sprinkled on top for good measure?
Of course, there is no such thing as a “new” idea so when I did some googling, I wasn’t surprised to see that there are a number of blogs that have tackled/are tackling the same challenge based on Kincavel Korner‘s 52 Things In 52 Weeks.
I’m in the process of creating a new Page (under construction) dedicated to my own list of 52 things, based on travel, health, writing, spirituality, simplifying life and personal development.
Feel free to join me on this ride but wouldn’t it be even better if you created your own list?
I’d love to have some company!
If you create your own “52 Things In 52 Weeks” challenge, let me know in the Comments box.
