Will you join in for the October 2017 Challenge?
Participation in last month’s #FictionFriday Challenge was amazing! I truly enjoy reading everyone’s fiction, some of which has some WICKED twists and surprises. Also, partnering with Helen from This Thing Called Life One Word At A Time and her Song Lyric Sunday was fabulous too!
Most of the September song lyric prompts dealt with denying love, lover’s revenge, love at first sight, romantic love, controlling your love and untamed love…of course, that’s from my interpretation. For the October song lyric prompts, I’ll be making them a little more upbeat and less lovey dovey.
Of course, if you don’t like the lyric prompt I can post, you can simply use part of it, another lyric from the song or simply whatever strikes you. You can write flash fiction, regular fiction, poem, it’s your choice! You can even use an old fiction piece or something you are currently working on.
If you take this month’s #FictionFriday Challenge, please pingback to the Friday post or drop a link to your post in its comment box. Also, TAG another fiction writer who may be interested in participating.
I’m looking forward to seeing the creative fiction you come up with!
Below is an advance look at the lyrics for the next Fridays in October that I will repost with its’ related video:
- October 6: “I’ve been all around the world and as a matter of fact…there’s only one place left I wanna go…”
- October 13: “Shut up and put your money where your mouth is…”
- October 20: “When we’re together, we never fight…we’ve got better things to do tonight…”
- October 27: “…You better have your hair weave strapped on tight…”
Enjoy and let’s write!
