  2. I for one have no shame in these events. I find it to be a useful means for finding new bloggers, as opposed to other social media networks where a great deal of followers hold no value at all.

I’m Kal. I write about fornication, coffee and poetry. (if you don’t know what fornication means, perhaps you’re too young) Along with the occasional rant about modern culture which pisses me off – for all intensive purposes residing to satirical entertainment – nothing to serious. If self-aware insults of gothic cliche poetry is your thing, stop on by. If erotic stories is your thing, stop on by. If hipsters irritate you as much they do me, stop on by. There’s alcohol in the words and water on the tape. Put your feet up get off on some of my words.

    Please to meet you all.

  4. Hi everyone!

I review books and other writings from across the web while also bringing bookworms and writers together on my blog The Write Web.

Right now I have a book in the editing phase. I am happy to announce it is a collection of the short stories you find on my blog along with some exciting new pieces. In the meantime, I will be stopping by your blogs to say hello!

  5. I’m Sandra… which may be obvious.

My blog is many things… Some fiction and some poetry… and lately, lots of personal stories and emotional junk. That’s probably not a great selling point… but I do have a sense of humor. That’s a necessity, really. Occasionally, I might rant about something… or cry about something. And I like graphic design… I have a shop… and hopefully soon, another shop. I’ll post a link to my shop separately so I don’t break any rules. I don’t want M to come after me! πŸ˜€

  6. Me again. If you’re interested in a journal or notebook or if you’re looking for greeting cards for the holidays (or for any other occasion)… stop by my shop. It’s filled with lots more, not just journals and notebooks and cards. Everything from tees to pillows to bags to tech accessories. Maybe you’ll find something you like for yourself… or for a friend.

  7. Good evening Marquessa & friends!!

I love the concept πŸ™‚ And I’ve already seen a couple of links I can’t wait to visit…

So, for those of you who don’t know me, I am Cyranny, but you can call me Cyr or Cyra! I take care of The Cove, a convenience blog, where you’ll find a little of all and everything; Humor, poetry, fiction, pictures, anecdotes… Depending on my mood “du moment”. I love challenges, challenging fellow bloggers, and interacting in all kinds of ways!

I am not very good at bragging, but I always bring some booze to Meet & Greet parties like this one, so if you bring your chair closer, you’ll pretty soon think I’m the coolest girl in the room (after Marquessa, of course) πŸ˜›

Here’s the link to my last post…. don’t be shy, come scroll around and don’t forget to say hi πŸ˜‰

So cheers to our host, and a great evening to you all πŸ™‚

  8. I have seen you take this initiative before Marquessa but I will admit to being too shy to leave a link – not that I didnt want to! πŸ˜› Anyway I decided to take the plunge before it became too cold πŸ˜‰

Hi all! I am Dahlia from Stories and More – and I do just that. Flash fiction, short stories one long running story (on the struggles of a 10 year old Indian girl as she grows older and tries to find her space in her male dominated unjust unfair world), lots of photos, especially of trees (arent they fascinating?) a bit of fun and lots of chatter – if you are willing to play of course πŸ˜€

So shall I put the kettle on? What if I take out my best china?

    Thanks M! πŸ™‚

  9. Hi Marquessa,
I came across your blog through a friends posting, and I thought I’d drop in to say hello to everyone and do a little friendly networking with some new people.
My name is Chris DiBella and I’m an author of fast paced action/adventure novels. I currently have two books published and just finished writing the third last week. I’ve been told I’m the next great best-selling author and that everyone should read my books…but what else would you expect your mom to say?
    My blog is:
https://authorchrisdibella.wordpress.com/ and my books can be found there as well.
I welcome all visitors and look forward to some good back and forth banter on any of my posts. We don’t always have to agree on everything, but there should be a level of civility when discussing any topic. Thanks and Happy Reading!

  10. Hi everyone! My name is Kelley, and I and my co-writter Marty just started a blog to post a story we continuously write together. We are both aspiring authors and have novels in the works. Our story line focuses on a group of teens at a massive academy where anything and everything goes. We have a diverse group of characters that go through a series of their own emotional and physical trials. Each one has their own (mostly tragic) back story that is revealed to the reader and their peers when it becomes relevant over time. For the purposes of the blog we started over fresh rather than posting years worth of story to catch up on, but we often have a variety of fast paced story lines, many that are beginning soon! We post everyday so if you’re looking for a chapter to read while waiting at the doctors office or on the bus ride home, etc, it’d be perfect for you!

Great blogs thrive because of comments and readership. I'd love to hear from you!
