“Feast Or Famine”

This was written for Nortina’s #1MinFiction Challenge at Lovely Curses.

Prompt: “Feast”

This prompt has given me a complete and total excuse to extend on where “The Midnight Hour” and “What A Girl Wants” left off…inspired by my Sunday’s #SongLyricSunday participation.
*This piece was not drafted in “one” minute. For this piece, I took “one” minute to draft an ending for this unfinished short from my writing notebook.

* Warning: Mature Content*

“God…you are beautiful,” I groaned, seeing stars behind my tightly shut eyes.

Halfway was not in Laney’s lexicon. She never did anything halfway. Over the past weeks, it had been either feast or famine with her. And from the determined look in her eyes, tonight she would be all feast.

I grabbed a handful of the sheets as Laney’s mouth left mine and lingered down my neck rendering me helpless. I bit down on my lower lip in anticipation as she wedged herself between my legs and trailed the tip of her tongue along my bare chest. We locked eyes when she reached my navel where she suddenly stopped and looked up at me. Her stare was so intense with what would likely happen next that I could have come on the spot.

Not able to take it anymore, I tried to raise myself up to change our positions but she forced me back down. Laney crawled up my body to straddle me, her hair falling wildly around her face as she looked down at me.

“Fuck,” I grunted. “I want you so bad Laney…”

“Then take me,” Laney whispered as she slid her hands up my chest and lowered her chest to meet mine. “Make love to me the way you said you wanted to Ty…”

I had been with countless women over the years but Laney had my body reacting in ways that I wasn’t aware that it could. It was as if she had completely taken over my body and soul. I didn’t just want her, I needed her. Somewhere between that first meeting in the coffee shop and the incident with her ex, I had secretly fallen hard for her and I never wanted to get up.

“Make love to me Ty,” she repeated as her lips explored mine. She was breathing heavily now, waiting for my tongue to dance along with hers.

“You make me crazy. I hate how much I love you…” The words slipped from my lips and into her mouth. She had broken me and it was too late to take my words back.

I felt Laney’s body tense up and then she slowly rolled off of me onto her side. Instead of responding with words, she reached over and took a gentle took hold of what she wanted to be hers. I inhaled sharply at her touch and brushed the hair away from her face.

“Show me how much you love me, that is, if you can handle it,” she smiled, stroking me more boldly.

Laney was acting so unlike herself.

“Oh?” I said, pulling her under me. “Are you underestimating my…skills?” I laughed and kissed her.

“Maybe I am. Prove me wrong.”

“Oh, I will. More than once.”

Monday’s One-Minute Fiction challenges you to write a complete micro-fiction piece in, you guessed it, one minute, no more, no less, based on the prompt provided! Of course, you can come back to edit for grammar & spelling, but the story itself must be written in a minute. Your prompt may be a photo, or a word, or a sentence—whatever inspires me, and hopefully inspires you too.

                1. Yeah, things haven’t been the smoothest of sailing but there are others worse off in this world.
Your blog has become a variety of what’s on your mind, space stuff, reblog, recipe…whatever is your fancy.

                  1. I know what you mean, but things in life make us feel the way we do regardless of whatever else is going on.
It is a place of randomness, I’ve been thinking lately if I’ve over done it a bit. ☺️

                    1. I like it. And its your blog so you should do whatever you want. Later on, you could always alter to fit an author’s platform… if that is what you need

                    2. …you could start weekly/biweekly features OR create a brand new additional space for just that purpose. I’m too lazy for that so when the time comes, I think I’ll just remove posts
