Song Lyric Sunday: “Piedad de Mi” – Alex Cuba #songlyricsunday

The prompt for this week’s #SongLyricSunday Challenge at “This Thing Called Life One Word At A Time” is:

Alex Cuba’s “Piedad de Mi” is my choice today.

It’s a very looooong stretch but I adore this catchy song.

The loose translation of the title is “pity on me” and he is professing his love (or what thinks is love) to a woman he sees in the street. But is it true love when he quickly becomes infatuated with another woman so quickly?

Google-enabled translation:

You are the sun the key

Of my life the key

Who I name in my dreams

Owner of my feelings

You know, that my chest does not fit

So much love that I feel

I ask you please

Have mercy on me!

  1. Marquessa, WTH? ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜„

I was all happy and bopping my head…despite the geriatric bakers about to throw down…but then the drooling flowers…car accident…mangled heart…pretty sure I suffered emotional trauma…by the third time I watched it! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

    Nice choice!

    1. Lol! Google “No espera mas” by him and it will soothr you. ๐Ÿ˜™ All those people are non-actors…just regular people living in the small Canadian town where he now lives!
