The 2018 A To Z Challenge Theme Reveal Is Today! @AprilA2Z #atozchallenge

The A to Z Challenge Theme Reveal for 2018 is here!

I’m only crawling out of my “hygge/hiatus” today to join in on the A to Z Challenge theme reveal with all other participants across the globe. If you don’t know what the A to Z Challenge is, you can click here. And there is still time for you to sign up and join in!

Back in this post, I asked you for ideas (THANK YOU!) but nothing really stuck. I wanted do something different from my Delaney/Tyler/Ella/Tyler character snippets (2016) and the “Living To Die” story (2017).

After all of that thinking, I decided that I wanted to experiment with a topic that could provide a few real life lessons.

My theme for this year’s 2018 A to Z Challenge for 2018 will be a “personal journal” style fiction about:

Power & Control

Part of my personal challenge will be to make you forget that it is a fictional story. But if you have ever been in a toxic relationship, you will quickly recognize the red flags in the story. And if you’ve never had such an experience, hopefully this story will give you a taste of what one is like.

Here is a quick teaser.

  1. Iโ€™m super excited that youโ€™re taking part in this challenge. I love your theme. I know itโ€™s Grandma’s saying but it reminds me of the show โ€˜Pretty Little Liars.โ€™ Mostly, because of the theme song. Anyways I canโ€™t wait to read your pieces, Iโ€™ll follow as best as I can. Last year and the year before , was awesome ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. I very much I could to A to Z or the NoPoWriMo, but Iโ€™ve been taking a writing course. It goes for 6 months, 2 down. Everyday thereโ€™s a lesson, and Iโ€™m about 6 behind write now, then we start are novel writing & I just did the very beginnings of a plot line tonight. Book 2 of my last novel. Still in stage 2 editing. I have learned some much and have a much better idea what to do now for editing and rewriting. Itโ€™s been such a huge learning curve, but one of the best courses Iโ€™ve taken in writing. So, I will be novel writing each day, along with freelance writing & editing. And I still want to be able post some work on my blog. Do a few prompts and some interviews and beauty as they are quite different than work or novel writing. Anyways the short, is love to. But itโ€™s too much if I add anything right now ๐Ÿ™‚ if I can somehow manage Iโ€™ll do the NaPoWriMo. But thatโ€™s even
Pushing it lol ๐Ÿ™‚ Best of luck. I like to read others blog pieces/challenges at least. So I will keep up there ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I love this theme! I am going to do a journal-themed A to Z too but mine won’t be fictional. I look forward to finding out how you’ll do on making us forget that it’s fiction.
