1 Short Story 4 Song Titles from the 1990s Again #nanowrimo #music #1990s

I know that you are likely sick of all of this by now…:)

This is my last post about music titles and my NaNoWriMo project. I promise.

After this, my next step will be to mull over the options, make four choices and start brainstorming for “Octoberprep.

Here is your last chance to pick the title that you think would make a good short story.

Take the poll below and scroll further down for the actual songs.

  1. We come from different worlds in different times and (clearly) carrying different musical tastes. I have to admit that I don’t actually ‘like’ many of the songs that you have suggested (though I don’t suppose that it’s all that important to like them) but, in this instance, I’d have to go for 1999.
That’s not to say that I’m a great Prince fan. But it’s difficult not to respect him.

More importantly, tough, I do like the idea of a party before the apocalypse.

      1. Quite so ….. and, on that note, here is a song that I particularly like the title of …. “I’ll see you in Paradise” and I like the first few lines of too ….

When the world is cold and dark
        And the rain comes
Don’t let it fall on me
In a world as cold as ice
        I keep a fire burning
Just to keep out the dark

Not your cup of tea, perhaps … and maybe not much of an inspiration for a story … but it does conjure up a few images.

Don’t watch the video. It’s old and tired. But listen to the music.
